The blue zone also includes two of the park’s 10 pickleball courts, the rest of which can be found in the pink zone.
2. Red Zone: Skate Park, Roller Rink + Food Trucks

Located on City Walk’s western side, the red zone hosts one of the park’s most popular recreation areas: the skate park and roller rink.
Fun fact: City Walk is home to the largest skate park in Central Alabama, with over 58,000 square feet of skateable area and an 11,000-square-foot roller skating rink.
After all those rad skating moves, stop for a bite at the red zone‘s rotating selection of food trucks.

It features a unique array of sculptures by artists like Ajene Williams, Randy Gachet and Willie Williams. Plus, there’s even a community piano painted by the art students at ASFA.
This is also where City Walk BHAM hosts community drum circles. Bring your own or use one that’s supplied and join in the fun.
4. Green Zone: Central Block + Amphitheater

Located in the heart of City Walk, the green zone is home to a 10,000-square-foot amphitheater with a built-in stage area that can host a variety of events.
With a capacity of around 1,000 people, the amphitheater is surrounded by City Walk Visitor’s Center and restrooms, the Central Block Fountain and a raised area with visibility to the stage.
