New affordable Chinese restaurant opens in Irondale

A new Chinese restaurant has opened in Irondale.

Tasty China opened their first location within the Cahaba Crossing Shopping Center at 1284 Grants Mill Rd. Suite 144 on Tuesday, April 22nd.

The diner serves a wide range of Chinese culinary favorites including:

  • Beef with Garlic Sauce
  • Sesame Chicken 
  • General Tso’s Chicken
  • Szechuan Scallops
  • Shrimp Lo Mein
  • Over 100+ menu items!

In addition to serving up a  wholesome meal, Tasty China offers a very affordable lunch special for $9.25 and its dinner combinations start $10.75 to $13.95.

More dining options coming to Irondale

According to Irondale Mayor James D. Stewart Jr., who participated in Tasty China’s Grand Opening with the Irondale Chamber of Commerce, the town is expanding its dining options. .

“One of the most consistent pieces of feedback I’ve received from citizens during my time as mayor is the desire for more dining options in Irondale. We’re thrilled to welcome Tasty China to our community and excited to see such a positive response from the public. 

This marks the second new restaurant to open in Irondale in just the past three months, and we’re also looking forward to the upcoming opening of a new Mexican restaurant in the Cahaba Crossing complex very soon.”

The new Tasty China location is open Tuesday-Saturday from 11AM to 10PM and 11AM to 9:30 on Sunday. They are closed on Monday.
