- 400+ free fries were provided to all library guests from the Checkers & Rally’s Fry Love Express
- A Pop-in-Play event awarded kids + families with entertainment + giveaway prizes
Support was also extended to 18 Birmingham-area libraries, which received achievement awards and bookmark coupons to help encourage young readers to get excited about summer reading.
Kick off summer reading at the Avondale Regional Library
“Last year, the Birmingham Public Library provided 256 summer programs for all ages! This summer, because of this donation, we will also be able to offer a free book for families to add to their home library. We will distribute these free books at our annual summer reading kickoff at the Avondale Regional Branch Library.”
