Alabama Splash Adventure, the longtime waterpark located right outside of Birmingham in Bessemer, has been nominated for two categories in USA Today’s 10BEST Readers’ Choice Awards 2025.

Nominated for best outdoor waterpark + lazy river
With water slides, wave pools and the famous lazy river, Splash Adventure has been a go-to for family fun for over 20 years—and USA Today agrees!
Over the years, it has introduced all kinds of thrilling water attractions like the Wipeout Adventure Course, Free-Fall drop slide and Cocoa Island kids’ splash pad.
The park has been nominated by USA Today in two categories:
You can vote for Splash Adventure and the lazy Warrior River once per day until polls close on Monday, April 21 at 11AM. The winners of both categories will be announced on Wednesday, April 30.
