If you grew up visiting Panama City Beach, odds are you may have visited FunLand Arcade & Snack Bar. Located across from the Runaway Island Boardwalk, Fun-Land Arcade dates back to 1953 and features 100+ arcade games like air hockey, pinball and more.

Now, owner Steven Toranto is bringing the iconic beach arcade to Homewood.

“The Edge is such a great family-friendly venue with lots of different restaurant choices. My son and I ate there yesterday and we loved it! We feel like Fun-Land Arcade will complement the welcoming atmosphere at The Edge.”

FunLand Arcade will be located in the former Cookie Plug space at The Edge, a new outdoor entertainment and restaurant hub located along Green Springs Highway in Homewood. The Edge was developed by J.J. and Whitney Thomas, two locals who wished for a multi-functional outdoor entertainment space near their home—and decided to build it themselves.

“The Edge has been fortunate to attract visitors of all ages, and we believe an arcade has broad appeal ensuring everyone of any age can enjoy these games.

[FunLand Arcade] will provide an interactive and social experience at The Edge that complements our existing family-friendly businesses at and fits within our goal of helping create memorably, family-friendly experiences.”

According to Steven Toranto, FunLand Arcade’s new location will feature a rotating selection of around ten games, including racing games, crane prize machines and other classic arcade games.
