2. Disney’s Freaky Friday @ Red Mountain Theatre

  • What: Join Red Mountain Theatre (RMT) for this spirited production of “Disney’s Freaky Friday.” The cast brings a fresh look at the beloved classic that features a mother and her teen daughter who magically swap bodies for one wild, emotional and heartfelt day. Fun fact: This is RMT’s second annual collaboration with UAB Department of Theatre.

3. MotoAmerica Superbikes @ Barber Motorsports Park

5. Alabama Spotlight: Big Fish (2003) @ Sidewalk Film Center + Cinema 

  • What: Sidewalk Film spotlights Alabama films this weekend with the 2003 must-see Big Fish. If you haven’t seen it before, the film tells the story of a frustrated son who tries to distinguish fact from fiction in the life of his father, a teller of tall tales. You’ll see notable Alabama locations, too, including Montgomery, Wetumpka and Jackson Lake Island.
