Onelife Fitness is moving into the recently closed AMC Classic Lee Branch 15 theater in Hoover.
The new state-of-the art sports club will be the Virginia-based companyβs second in the Birmingham Metro area.
According to the fitness club, they plan to invest $14 million into the former 68,000-square-foot AMC Classic theater site, which was shuttered on March 24th.Β
This is not the first vacant property Onelife Fitness is renovating. In January, the company announced plans to transform the former JC Penney at Tannehill Promenade in McCalla, into a top-of-the-line gym. Their first location in Alabama, the McCalla facility plans to open in late 2025.
