NEW: Popeye’s coming to Inverness on Highway 280

A familiar fast food spot along Highway 280 is undergoing a major transformation. The Burger King located on the bustling intersection has officially closed its doors and is now in the process of becoming a Popeye’s Louisiana Kitchen.

Former Burger King becomes Popeye’s

Known for its famous fried chicken and Cajun-inspired menu, Popeye’s is bringing a new flavor to the area, replacing the traditional flame-grilled burgers and fries with a taste of Southern comfort food.

Popeye’s signature chicken sandwiches, spicy chicken tenders and bold sides like mashed potatoes with gravy and red beans and rice have already created a buzz, offering a flavorful change for 280 customers.
