Meet the 4 exceptional women honored at Impact Day 2025 in Birmingham

It’s Women’s History Month, and what better way to celebrate than honoring the local women who have shaped our community? Last week, Momentum Leaders hosted a luncheon honoring four exceptional women who are making an impact in Birmingham and beyond.
The 2025 Women of Impact honorees, Bobby Bradley, Judge Agnes Chappell, Dr. Connie Hill and Dr. Cameron Vowell, were recognized for their remarkable contributions and lasting legacies in leadership.

Bobby Bradley

Bobby Bradley is a pioneering entrepreneur and philanthropist who co-founded Computer Systems Technology (CST), serving clients like NASA and the Department of Defense.
She later became a partner in multiple ventures and co-founded the Village of Promise, a nonprofit focused on breaking the cycle of generational poverty.
Bradley has also held leadership roles on numerous boards and received honors such as the Distinguished Service Award from the Huntsville and Madison County Chamber of Commerce.
Judge Agnes Chappell

Judge Chappell has dedicated over 45 years to law and the Alabama judiciary, championing justice and equality.
She played a key role in founding Birmingham’s first Domestic Violence Court and leads community initiatives like the Goals and Justice Tour and HaitiSURGE. Her impact has earned her numerous honors, including the 2023 Community Trailblazer Award from the NAACP Metro Birmingham.
Dr. Connie Hill

Dr. Hill, CEO of Girls Inc. of Central Alabama, has dedicated her career to empowering young women through mentorship and innovative programs.
She previously helped develop Alabama’s first Safe Haven shelter for mentally ill homeless women and Pathways, an agency that serves women and children experiencing homelessness.
Her leadership extends to boards like One Roof and the Women’s Foundation of Alabama, earning her recognition as one of Birmingham’s Top Women by the Birmingham Business Journal.
Dr. Cameron Vowell

Dr. Vowell is an environmental scientist and advocate for women’s leadership, playing a key role in initiatives like the Clean Air Act and the founding of the Women’s Foundation of Alabama.
She has served on the Alabama Environmental Management Commission and co-founded organizations such as the Freshwater Land Trust and the Alabama Chapter of The Nature Conservancy.
Additionally, she helped establish the Magic City LGBTQ Health Endowed Professorship at UAB’s School of Public Health.
