From 2000 to 2003, the original Furnace Fest brought incredible punk, hardcore and metal acts—and their fans—to The Magic City. In 2019, a group of four friends set out to replicate the original Furnace Fest. The new iteration of Furnace Fest was held in 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024—with the 2024 event planned to be the “End of an Era.”

Although 2024’s event was the “End of an Era” for Furnace Fest, organizers announced that the festival would be coming back in 2025 with a reimagined format and refreshed vision

Today, the organizers of Furnace Fest released the lineup for the 2025 iteration of the festival.

“It’s been a lot of work putting this lineup together, but we couldn’t be more pleased with how it turned out.

We’re beyond excited to bring such an incredible group of artists to Birmingham and make this year’s Furnace Fest one to remember.

This festival has always been about community, and we can’t wait to see everyone come together once again for an unforgettable weekend.”

Johnny Grimes, Co-Organizer, Furnace Fest
