On any given day, you can always find something fun to do at the Birmingham Jefferson Convention Complex (BJCC) and Birmingham’s entertainment district, Uptown.
However, the last two weekends of March are even more jam-packed than usual, with massive events like the NCAA Women’s Basketball Regional happening alongside can’t-miss entertainment like Les Misérables presented by Broadway in Birmingham.

1. Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship | Saturday, March 22
On March 22, you can see the world’s elite motorbike riders race head-to-head at the Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship. Protective Stadium will be transformed into an impressive dirt racetrack where riders can earn points towards the 2025 SuperMotocross World Championship Finals fueled by Monster Energy.

2. SEC Gymnastics Championship | Saturday, March 22
At Legacy Arena, the nation’s top collegiate gymnasts will compete for SEC titles at the 2025 SEC Gymnastics Championship. This event is perfect for fans of all ages, with world-class athletes performing their gymnastics routines in a breathtaking show of skill.

4. Les Misérables presented by Broadway in Birmingham | Tuesday, March 25 — Sunday, March 30
One of the most popular musicals ever to grace the stages of Broadway, “Les Misérables” is a story of redemption and mercy set against the backdrop of 19th-century revolutionary France. With its powerful music like “Do You Hear The People Sing” and “Master of the House,” this epic musical is an experience that will stay with you long after the final curtain drops.

5. NCAA Women’s Basketball Regional | Friday, March 28 — Monday, March 31
Announced last year, the 2025 NCAA Women’s Basketball Regional is the BJCC’s second NCAA tournament in three years—and a can’t-miss opportunity to see your favorite NCAA Women’s Basketball teams face off in the Sweet 16 and Elite 8 rounds.

6. Monster Jam | Saturday, March 29
In 2024, Monster Jam helped the BJCC shatter all previous attendance records in March. Now, the record-breaking event is back and better than ever! See massive monster trucks tear up the dirt track at Protective Stadium with backflips, massive jumps and stunts—fun for the whole family.
