New soccer facility and retail space opens in Hoover

A new soccer facility and retail shop has opened in Hoover.

Called Campo X, the spacious facility along Valleydale Road at 110 Little Valley Ct., in Hoover has a  7v7 soccer field, finished with goals and a turf field. The complex is also the new home of Soccer Nation, the popular retailer who is leasing the 7,000 square foot  showroom and warehouse.

Campo X is the brainchild of Igor Popovich and Soccer Nation owner Michael Valladares.

Soccer Nation Expansion

Formerly located in Vestavia Hills, the new Soccer Nation space in Hoover is nearly double the size of their old location. They still have all the best soccer gear:

  • Soccer footwear — Nike, Adidas, Mizuno and more
  • Soccer equipment — Shin guards, gloves, soccer balls, referee whistles + cards and more
  • Apparel — From vintage jerseys to the latest kits from all over the world
  • Team and Individual customized jerseys produced in-house

According to Valladares, in the coming weeks Soccer Nation intends to expand its inventory.

Campos X field — New league and rentals

Along with all the soccer gear, the new Campo X 7v7 field, which can also be turned into a field that can play two simultaneous  5v5 games, has launched a new league. 

Using only social media and word of mouth, 24 7v7 teams divided into three divisions has been established. Their inaugural games start this week. 

Besides the league, the field can be rented out for pickup games and special events ranging from birthday parties to end of the season celebrations.
