A new family entertainment center could be moving into the Bargain Hunt on Lorna Road, according to the Hoover Sun.

The proposal comes from a company called Stars Entertainment, which also owns Altitude Trampoline Park in Pelham.

What to expect

According to the floor plan for the 54,000-square-foot facility at 3313 Lorna Rd, it will feature:

  • 16 bowling lanes
  • Trampoline
  • Arcade
  • “Gel-blaster” room
  • Activity + party rooms
  • Food service area

The proposed hours are Monday through Thursday 10AM-10PM, Friday and Saturday 10AM-1AM and Sunday 10AM-12AM .

Proposed to Hoover City Council

On January 13, the Hoover Planning and Zoning Commission voted to recommend that the Hoover City Council approve the request.

The proposal is now set for a public hearing and vote on February 17.

As part of its recommendation, the zoning board included a condition requiring Stars Entertainment to refurbish the landscape islands in the parking lot, which had been removed over time.

Indoor entertainment is on the rise

The proposal of this new facility is one of a few different indoor entertainment projects going on in Birmingham:
