Skateboarder + TV star Bam Margera praises City Walk Skate Park

If you visited City Walk BHAM yesterday, you might have spotted a familiar face. Bam Margera—one of the stars of reality stunt show Jackass and an avid skateboarder—recently visited the City Walk Skate Park, and even shouted out the park on social media.

Bam Margera visits City Walk Skate Park

During a recent visit to The Magic City, Bam Margera made time to test out the City Walk Skate Park facility.

One of the main stars of the Jackass franchise, Bam Margera started skating when he was seven years old and has since become a prominent figure in the skateboarding world.

Bam shouted out the City Walk Skate Park on social media, calling it, “one of the best.”

Designed by New Line Skate Parks, the City Walk Skate Park is one of the most-visited attractions at City Walk BHAM, a series of connected parks across ten city blocks under the I-59/20 viaduct in downtown Birmingham. The skatepark is the fifth-largest skating facility in the country, and features more than 58,000 square feet of:

  • Pump tracks
  • A street course
  • Two large bowls as well as beginner bowls
  • Quarters pipes and more.
