Get ready to boogie the night away with Magic City Disco. This dynamic disco band is bringing the groove with their high-energy ‘70s-inspired performances, inviting everyone to hit the dance floor and join in the fun.
Then, stick around for Youngbucks Brass Band, a brass ensemble from the 151st Army Band from Montgomery, Alabama.
Plus, Commander from the Birmingham Squadron will be leading a second line in the parade.
Join the Golf Cart Parade!
Get ready for a unique twist on the parade tradition—a Golf Cart Parade!
Want to join the parade? Here’s what you need to do:
- Select a theme + team name
- Decorate your golf cart
- Roll in style!
Carts can have up to three riders and passengers will be able to toss Mardi Gras beads. Prizes will be awarded for first, second and third place.
Individuals, teams, krewes, organizations and corporations are encouraged to apply by Wednesday, January 23.
Dress to impress
Show off your Mardi Gras spirit in style by donning your most festive attire—bright beads, vibrant feathers and all the bold, colorful flair you can imagine. (Pssst... it might be chilly—make sure to layer up!)
Prizes await the most dazzling costumes, so come ready to shine and strut your stuff.
Plus, you can jazz up your look at the “Glitter Bar” by Glitter on Tap and snap a photo at the MG Photo station.
