See the ASO perform in Birmingham, Jan. 16
The concert series officially launched on December 5 with a captivating performance that fused Baroque and contemporary music. If you missed it, don’t worry, you have time to catch the next performance on January 16.
Taking place at the gorgeous Carver Theatre, the concert will feature the works of two iconic French composters, Maurice Ravel and Gabriel Fauré.
The evening opens with Ravel’s Pavane for a Dead Princess, a hauntingly beautiful piece that evokes a royal procession through its delicate melodies and lush orchestration. Following Ravel’s evocative work, Fauré’s deeply moving Requiem will offer a poignant contrast, showcasing the composer’s lyrical and emotive style.
