Vestavia Hills’ Hudson Meek—a 16-year-old actor best known for his role in the 2017 film Baby Driver—passed away at UAB Hospital on Saturday night.
Here’s how you can help support Hudson’s loved ones during this time.
A sophomore at Vestavia Hills High School, Hudson Meek attended Acting Out Academy in Birmingham and was known for his role in MacGyver, Baby Driver and more.
On Saturday night, December 21, Hudson passed away, according to a Facebook post from his mom, Lani Meek.
In additional social media posts, details on a Celebration of Hudson’s Life were shared.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 28 at Dawson Memorial Baptist Church in Homewood, according to WVTM13.
