Visit a live nativity during Asbury’s Experience Christmas event
Holiday events can often be overwhelming with huge crowds and the urge to spend every penny on gifts.
What’s special about Asbury’s Experience Christmas event is that it puts some calm and focus back into the season.
One way they do this is by letting you visit a real live nativity scene, where you can:
- Explore the Bethlehem of Jesus’ day and chat with leather tanners, potters, candle-makers + spice vendors.
- Visit a stable where Mary, Joseph, the shepherds, wise men + camels, sheep + donkeys keep watch over a small baby Jesus.
- Hear a magical telling of the Christmas story.
New this year at Asbury’s Experience Christmas event
Experience Christmas includes something all new this year—holiday shopping! Don’t worry, this event is still super chill and will even help you give back this season.
During the event, you can head indoors to browse and purchase homemade gifts created by some of Asbury’s Mission Partners, including:

Get photos with Santa + grab dinner at a local food truck
Jesus is the reason for the season, but Santa is definitely near the top of the list.
After strolling through the live nativity, your family can have a merry time with Santa and Mrs. Claus.
They’ll be posing for photos, so be sure to join them to capture a sweet memory.

- Make holiday ornaments to decorate your tree at home or gift to another
