2. LJCC has a rich history here in Birmingham
The LJCC got its start in Birmingham back in 1906 with the formation of the Young Men’s Hebrew Association.
What began as a sanctuary for Jewish immigrants who faced exclusion elsewhere has evolved into a welcoming community for everyone who enters its doors.

If you enjoy swimming, you’ll love this. The LJCC’s heated indoor and seasonal outdoor pools are home to one of Birmingham’s best aquatics programs.
