Celebrating 43 years
Dog Daze is a long-standing tradition in Trussville. Although dogs are welcome, the festival is about celebrating the end of the long, hot days of summer while offering a mix of fun activities, entertainment, and a community atmosphere—all while being pet-friendly.

On Saturday, September 14, local vendors will be set up at the historic Trussville Mall featuring everything from community organizations to handmade goods.

There will be music, too—Puttin’ on the Ritz DJ Service will be spinning tracks all day.
BONUS: Find excitement at the Cahaba Homestead Heritage Foundation Kids and Family Area. The Trussville Historical Society will open Heritage Hall to the public, allowing visitors to learn more about the city’s history.

The Pup Strut is a must-see

Head to the Historic Mall’s stage at 2:30PM for one of the event’s most popular highlights—the Pet Supplies Plus Pup Strut. Trust me, you’ll want a front-row seat!
All dogs are welcome to join in the fun. Just sign ’em up and lead them across the stage so they can strut their stuff for a chance to win ribbons and prizes.
There is a $5 entry fee, which will support Trussville’s Cahaba Dog Park.
Wrap up the day at the Dog Daze Ending Celebration Concert
The fun continues into the night with a free concert at The Gateway-Trussville Entertainment District.
Local singer Ethan Womack kicks off the show at 7PM followed by hometown favorite band SIDECAR from 8-10PM.
