Children’s of Alabama has opened a new  pediatric clinic in West Jefferson County

Called Children’s of Alabama Pediatric West Hueytown the medical practice is located at  2001 Old Warrior River Road, Hueytown 35023.

The new 7,500-square-foot clinic will provide the services of five board-certified full-time pediatric doctors serving children from newborn to 18 years of age. 

The clinic includes:

  • Onsite laboratory
  • Medication management
  • Immunization administration
  • 16 patient rooms
  • Other health services

The clinic began seeing patients on June 24. Physicians can see between 20-30 children in the morning and afternoon.

The community held a ribbon-cutting on July 8th.

Open six days a week

The clinic, which is very kid-friendly is open Monday through Saturday.

Mon-Friday – 8:00AM to 5:00PM 

Saturday –  8:00AM to Noon

The new clinic is a great addition to West Jefferson County and the town Hueytown. It is the second medical facility opening in the western part of the county. Last week, UAB Medical West announced it is opening its $400 million Bessemer/McCalla hospital in August.
