The 4th of July is just around the corner, and fireworks shows and festivals will kick off as early as June. Read on for some of the best spots to see a spectacular show and celebrate Independence Day-style across Birmingham.

1. Reds, Whites & Brews at Cat-n-Bird Winery

  • What: Enjoy music with Eric Watters and food from Ellie B’s BBQ at this Independence Day-inspired event.

2. Chelsea Fest and the Big KaBoom @ Chelsea Corners Way/Chelsea Road

6. Fire on the Water @ Oak Mountain State Park in Pelham

  • What: Head to Oak Mountain State Park for an epic July 3 event. At 5PM, Flip Side Watersports will put on an exciting wakeboarding show with some of the top wakeboarders in the nation. There will also be food + beverage trucks onsite and fireworks.

  • What: Head to Regions Field on Wednesday, July 3 to see the Birmingham Barons play the Rocket City Trash Pandas. Along with an exciting game and ballpark food, there will be an amazing fireworks show.
