Cheers to Bham cocktails! (Lauren Perry / Bham Now)

Our team loves indulging in a good cocktail. It’s a good thing, too, because Birmingham is full of eccentric spots with top-notch bar menus.

Here are a few of our recent favorite sips.

Orange Thing at Bottega

Loved by all who walk through Bottega’s doors is the “Orange Thing.” Made with vodka, triple sec and most importantly, fresh orange juice.

Swing by Bottega, get yourself an Orange Thing and thank me later.

The Imperial at Bamboo on 2nd

Not only does Bamboo on 2nd have great sushi, but they have top-notch cocktails, too.

If you want something sweet, we recommend The Imperial—citrus-ginger simple and orange bitters are the perfect combo for your new favorite cocktail.

Geno Pearson at The House of Found Objects

When I asked our team the best cocktails they’ve had around Birmingham, The House of Found Objects was a clear favorite destination.

There was one that came out on top: Geno Pearson. This spunky drink is made with honeysuckle vodka, pomegranate liqueur and raspberry-hibiscus tea.

This is my go-to and it will be yours, too!

Buzz Word at Juniper

Juniper is one of my favorite spots around town, and it’s drinks like Buzz Word that keep me hooked.

It’s sweet, peachy and topped with a buzz button garnish. Stop by and try it for yourself!

Tiki Tango at Tucana Tiki Bar

One of Bham’s newest and coolest bars is also home to the coolest drinks.

We tried the Tiki Tango (the one in the pineapple glass!) and couldn’t get enough. It’s made with tequila, tamarind, pineapple, mango and lime—you know, all the good things.

Homewood Tini at Ironwood Kitchen & Cocktails

Grey Goose Vodka, champagne and blueberries make for the perfect cocktail at Ironwood Kitchen & Cocktails.

Our team raved about this spot and I’m already making plans to try it myself.
