1. La Auténtica | Crestwood Boulevard

Now open on Crestwood Boulevard is La Autentica, a Mexican grocery store offering a diverse range of goodies, from freshly baked pan dulce to authentic Mexican spices. Stock up on household essentials like crisp cabbage, scallions and handcrafted tortillas.

2. UAB Early Learning Center | Downtown

UAB’s new Early Learning Center is ready to welcome 228 children and 46 infants. Spanning 18,500 square feet, it boasts both classroom and operational areas, along with 9,700-square-foot outdoor playground. UAB faculty, staff and students can rejoice as this center offers discounted childcare and reduced tuition.

3. Style of the South | Chelsea

Style of the South, Chelsea’s newest gem, offers an array of treasures, from bespoke jewelry and artisanal soaps to elegant vases and aromatic candles. This new boutique is a must-visit destination for those seeking unique finds.

4. gorjana | The Summit

Exciting news for jewelry enthusiasts—Southern California’s rapidly expanding brand, gorjana, is debuting its first Alabama store at The Summit. The 818-square-foot space located near LUSH and Banana Republic will welcome customers starting Saturday, June 1.

5. Chick-fil-A | Valleydale Road

The most recent Chick-fil-A establishment recently marked its grand opening at Inverness Corners.

Mark Meadows, a Birmingham native, is the proprietor of Chick-fil-A Valleydale, boasting family ties to the restaurant’s heritage. His wife, Kim, is the great-niece of Chick-fil-A founder S. Truett Cathy.

6. Bluff Park Coffee Collective | Shades Mountain Plaza
