Professional rodeo coming to Pelham this summer + more local rodeo events

As rodeo season gears up, it’s time to giddy up and get ready for some bucking, roping and riding.

This July, the Pelham Civic Complex is hosting a huge professional rodeo event featuring entertainment for all ages.

Pro Rodeo in Pelham on July 19-20

In partnership with Kidz Outdoors and 3R Rodeo Company, the Pelham Civic Complex is hosting a professional rodeo event July 19-20.

The event will include rodeo activities like:

  • Bull riding
  • Bronc riding
  • Barrel racing
  • Steer wrestling
  • Roping
  • Mutton busting

Proceeds from the event will benefit Kidz Outdoors, a nonprofit organization that provides outdoor recreation activities for children facing physical, mental or emotional challenges.

This May, Helena Hollow is hosting a Mother’s Day Weekend rodeo. Enjoy food trucks, vendors, mechanical bull rides and all kinds of rodeo events all night long.

Jefferson County Cattleman Rodeo—April 26-27

Located at Hallmark Farms in Warrior, Alabama, the Jefferson Cattleman Rodeo will take place April 26-27. Come out for a night on the farm to see bucking, roping, racing and much more.
