Experts will be at the events to answer all your questions. (Birmingham Botanical Gardens)

Whether you’re a horticulture expert or starting your very first garden, you’ll love the Birmingham Botanical Gardens’ Annual Spring Plant Sale.

Each April, hundreds of local plant adorers flock to the event to learn from experts and purchase a variety of herbs, flowers, shrubs and more.

The beloved sale is hosted by the Friends of Birmingham Botanical Gardens——a nonprofit seeking to protect, nurture and keep the Gardens blooming.

This special group consists of dedicated volunteers who work year-round to make the event one of the South’s largest plant sales.

“With the arrival of spring, our corps of expert volunteers here at the Gardens has a special opportunity to share their enthusiasm and shine a spotlight on their favorite plants.

Every volunteer has a story about their gardening journey and it’s breathtaking to see their combined efforts to make this sale a reality.”
