7 egg-cellent Easter egg hunts in the Magic City

What better way to spend the spring season than at Easter egg hunts with your peeps. Continue reading to learn about some of the Easter events that Birmingham has to offer for the whole family… even your four-legged friends!
1. Easter Eggstravaganza
Easter Eggstravaganza-one of the biggest events of the year-is guaranteed fun for your whole fam! In addition to the egg hunt you can expect:
- Balloon animals
- “On The Run Concessions” food truck
- Raffles
Below are the three dates and locations to choose from for the 2024 Eggstravaganza!
- Event 1: Saturday, March 9, 3PM at Highland Park
- Event 2: Sunday, March 10, 2PM at Regent Park
- Event 3: Saturday, March 16, 2PM at Parkmont Park

2. Trinity United Methodist Church
The annual Easter egg hunt at Trinity United Methodist Church is right around the corner! Bring your own basket and come ready for crafts and other egg-citing activities.

3. First Methodist Church of Hueytown
Rain or shine, First Methodist Church is happy to host Hueytown and surrounding communities for an Easter egg hunt, crafts, face painting and popcorn!

- Cost: Free
4. Oak Mountain State Park
Bring your four-legged friends along for a fun day at Oak Mountain State Park! Check out the age-specific egg hunt time slots posted on the Oak Mountain website.
- When: Saturday, March 23, 9-4PM
- Where: Oak Mountain State Park
- Cost: Park entrance fee
5. Patriot Park
Homewood Parks and Recreation is gearing up for this year’s egg hunt at Patriot Park for kids ages 10 and under. Grab your Easter baskets and join the Homewood community for:
- Easter egg hunt
- Games
- Prizes
Plus, rumor has it you will find the Easter Bunny there.

6. Easter Egg Roll at Emmett O’Neal Library
With Easter baskets in tow, head over to the grassy field in front of Emmett O’Neal Library in Mountain Brook for their annual Easter egg roll! Find the Easter Bunny for a picture following the egg hunt.

7. Brewster Road Community Church
Gather your friends and family to hop over to Brewster Community Church to hunt for Easter eggs! Be sure to RSVP for this free event at the link below.
