Announced earlier this year, Luca Lagotto and Luca Mercato Lagotto are a new casual Italian restaurant and market concept from PRG, the brand behind several beloved Birmingham restaurants, including:

  • Rodney Scott’s BBQ
  • Hero Doughnuts & Buns
  • Little Donkey
  • Tasty Town

The PRG team worked with Montgomery-based Chambless King Architects to design each building, harkening back to the centuries-old buildings found throughout Italy combined with the energy of modern Italian design.

“Luca Lagotto and Luca Mercato Lagotto are inspired by the charming villages in the Emilia-Romagna region in northern Italy and their dedication to quality products and ingredients.

We are thrilled to bring this level of culinary experience and craftsmanship to Birmingham. We look forward to opening our doors to the community and providing a place to gather and share memorable meals together.”

Nick Pihakis, Founder and CEO of Pihakis Restaurant Group

Both Luca Lagotto and Luca Mercato Lagotto will be open seven days a week, Sunday through Thursday from 11AM to 9PM and Friday and Saturday from 11AM to 10PM.
