NEW: Roebuck restaurant and entertainment spot with karaoke opening

A new restaurant which specializes in family friendly meals and deserts during the day and live entertainment for grown-ups at night, including live music and karaoke is opening in Birmingham on Parkway East.
Read on to learn more about Yummy’s Garage, which starts serving the Roebuck community at 9500 Parkway East, 35215 on February 20th.

Bham Now caught up with Yummy’s Garage owner Tabian Cooper last week about his new place.
“Yummy’s Garage—when you come here you will be able to get entertainment and great food. It’s all about fashion. It’s live music, comedy and karaoke —great food, great entertainment, great drinks all in one.”

The spacious restaurant/entertainment spot begins offering a family-friendly brunch and lunch menu at 10:00AM daily from Tuesday to Saturday. According to Cooper the menu has it all from traditional burgers to omelets. For the kids there are cinnamon dogs–kinda a “pancake hot dog”— and yes there is Yummy’s famous ice cream.
Cooper told us another one of Yummy’s specialities is a wide range of “big grand” potatoes.
“We specialize in potatoes. We have a salmon baked potato. A philly cheese, baked potato, and a shrimp baked potato.”
Evening Entertainment at Yummy’s Garage
After 4PM, the atmosphere at Yummy’s Garage changes, becoming adults only. That’s when there will be live music, comedy shows and karaoke every evening.
Of course, much of the menu will stay the same.
