It’s a good time to be a Broadway fan in Birmingham. That’s right—six incredible productions, including Les Mis, Chicago and more are coming to the BJCC Concert Hall for the 2024-25 season.

You don’t have to book a flight to New York City to see Tony Award-winning Broadway productions. For the sixth year in a row, The American Theatre Guild—the nation’s largest not-for-profit touring Broadway presenter—is bringing can’t-miss theatrical productions to our backyard.

The six shows in the 2024-25 Broadway in Birmingham series are:

1. CHICAGO | November 19-24, 2024

Set in the whirlwind of Chicago’s Jazz Age, CHICAGO follows vaudeville star Velma Kelly and chorus girl Roxie Hart as they become fierce rivals while competing for headlines in a media frenzy.

CHICAGO has it all—fame, fortune and all that jazz—brought to you through showstopping songs and astonishing dance performances.

2. Annie | January 14-19, 2025

3. SIX | February 11-16, 2025

A recent addition to the Broadway lineup, SIX is a musical retelling of the lives of King Henry VIII’s six wives.

In SIX, Tudor Queens-turned Pop Icons Catherine of Aragorn, Anne Boleyn, Jane Seymour, Anna of Cleves, Katherine Howard and Catherine Parr take the microphone to remix five hundred years of historical heartbreak into a celebration of 21st-century girl power.

A global sensation, SIX won 23 awards in the 2021-22 Broadway season—including the Tony Award® for Best Original Score (Music and Lyrics) and the Outer Critics Circle Award for Best Musical.

4. Les Misérables | March 25-30, 2025

Can you hear the people sing? Since its premiere in 1980, LES MISÉRABLES has been lauded as one of the best musical productions of all time.

Its magnificent score will bring both tears to your eyes and laughter to your lips with songs like, “I Dreamed A Dream,” “Master Of The House” and “Do You Hear The People Sing.”

Set in 19th-century France, LES MISÉRABLES follows peasant-turned-convict Jean Valjean and his journey to redemption. Along the way, Valjean and other captivating characters are swept into the ill-fated Paris Uprising of 1832.

5. Beetlejuice | May 6-11, 2025

Based on Tim Burton’s beloved 1988 hit, BEETLEJUICE tells the story of strange and unusual teenager Lydia Deetz and her encounters with the Maitlands—a recently deceased couple—and, of course, Beetlejuice—a devious demon with a thing for stripes.

With a jaw-dropping set and a score that’s out of this Netherworld, BEETLEJUICE is fun for the whole family.

6. TINA — The Tina Turner Musical | June 24-29, 2025
