1. Dayrol

Founded by Temani Beck, Dayrol enables organizations to amplify their impact on financial education.

  • Create a custom budget + track transactions
  • Get real-time budget information
  • Manage bill due dates + avoid late fees
  • Monitor income, expenses, bills + cashflow

Through Dayrol, Beck is building a movement toward financial literacy and independence, driven by her belief that “everyone deserves the tools and knowledge to achieve a life well-planned and well-lived.”

2. VeroSkills

Aiming to address the lack of global tech talent, VeroSkills is an E-Learning Provider that offers a direct channel for underserved students seeking training in software development.

How do they do this? By partnering with organizations that are deeply connected to communities and understand the challenges that students face.

Students can browse the talent pool and get connected with a top-notch learning platform and community—setting them up for success in the tech world.

3. Primordial Ventures

Primordial Ventures is launching a manufacturing operation to produce high-quality medical supplies—and it’s happening right here in Birmingham! The company chose the Magic City over Florida and Georgia cities—who can blame them?

Primordial Ventures aims to solve education and health equity, disparity and logistic challenges.

How do they do this? By implementing sustainable programs and increasing diverse representation in the technology, consultancy and advanced manufacturing industries.

Operating out of “The Switch” building in downtown Birmingham, the company will manufacture and distribute medical supplies including:

  • Urine bags

Plus, Primordial Ventures committed to creating 30 jobs over three years, according to the Alabama Department of Commerce.
