What’s up with all the retirements, Alabama? First, it was Alabama Head Coach Nick Saban retiring in mid-January. Now, it appears that 2024 will be the final year for the “Rick & Bubba Show.”

Rick Burgess announced today that 2024 would be the final year for the popular show.

Hosted by Burgess and Bill “Bubba” Bussey, the show was established in Gadsden in the 80s. Today, the show is produced by Birmingham’s WZZK and is syndicated in several states.

Below is the reaction on social media to the announcement.
