Slice named “Pizza Company of the Year” in Southeast by national publication

Pizza Today, the leading national trade publication for the $44B pizza industry named Birmingham-based Slice Pizza & Brews the “Pizza Company of the Year “ for the Southeast region.

The inaugural  2023 PIE Awards by Emerald Expositions and Pizza Today were announced on January 12th. Slice not only won the regional award, it also was  named the winner of the “Best Menu” category.

Slice — More than a pizza joint

Established in the Birmingham Lakeview District back in 2011, Slice has been more than a pizza joint, it is a treasured community gathering spot holding “Dough-Raisers for non-profits and in 2021 – SliceFest.

Along with its Lakeview District location, there are three additional Slice  pizzerias in  Vestavia Hills, Montevallo and Crestline Park. A 5th restaurant is opening in the Edgewood neighborhood of Homewood in early 2024.
