Remember the Birmingham FOOD+Culture Festival this past fall? USA Today’s 10Best sure does.
The popular national publication and its readers chose the inaugural culinary extravaganza as the 3rd best new festival in 2023.
A Magic City foodie paradise
The Magic City’s four-day event, which turned into a foodie-lovers paradise, beat out festivals from Atlanta to St. Paul Minnesota.
How well attended was the 2023 Birmingham FOOD+Culture Festival? Who participated, and what made it unique? Here are the “numbers” provided to Bham Now via the event organizers:
- Hosted visitors from 18 states
- Featured 72 participating chefs, 15 mixologists and sommeliers
- Enjoyed 11 performances from award-winning local and regional acts
