• When: Saturday-Sunday, Dec. 9-10 + Saturday-Friday, Dec. 16-22 | 6-8PM

If you’re like me, good food and drinks are an event must. This year’s Magical Nights: Vulcan’s Holiday Experience will not disappoint. 

On select nights, you’ll find local favorites like Wasabi Juan’s, Gumbo to Geaux and Sweet Spun Candy. Hot chocolate, wine and beer will also be available.

As you wander around Vulcan Park and Museum, you’ll hear festive music and encounter thousands of enchanting lights. 

Be sure to look up—Vulcan will be decked out in a colorful light display as he lights up Birmingham’s sky.

For incredible views of Birmingham, be sure to visit the Observation Tower—it will be open each night of the event.

New this year at Magical Nights: Vulcan’s Holiday Experience

Now for the part I’ve been most excited to tell you about—what’s new this year. 

For its sixth year, Magical Nights: Vulcan’s Holiday Experience will be offering event guests more entertainment and special perks than ever before. 

Here what’s new this year:

• Themed Nights: Get ready to show off your holiday trivia skills, shout Bingo, sing your heart out during Christmas karaoke and more—Magical Nights: Vulcan’s Holiday Experience will feature special themed nights that you and your whole crew will enjoy. 

• Discounts: Love a good deal? Discounted rates will be available on select events nights. Some to expect include:
  • Free admission for first responders—Saturday, December 9/Opening Night
  • 50% off on college night with valid school ID

• Extended hours: While this one isn’t exactly new, it is a special perk worth mentioning. Each night of the event, The Anvil and Museum will be open until 8PM. 
  • Shop The Anvil for fun holiday gifts like Vulcan bobbleheads and locally-made ornaments, and check out the museum for cool Birmingham facts and more.
