Support local and knock out your holiday shopping all at once with great stores in Homewood. The shops are decked out with holiday decor and employees are ready to help you find the perfect gifts for under trees and in stockings. I headed to downtown Homewood to check out the storefronts for myself and found gifts perfect for everyone on my list.

One of my favorite gifts to give and receive during the holiday season is special ornaments. Stop by Antique Market on Linden to pick out a handcrafted ornament for someone in your life. They have everything from adorable animals like dinosaurs and zebras to beautiful holiday colors and patterns to choose from.

One of my favorite stores in downtown Homewood is At Home Furnishings. They have the cutest selection of jewelry for the person who loves to accessorize. Pick out a necklace, bracelet, ring or a set. Plus—they have amazing seasonal decor that will put you in the holiday spirit.

Books are the gift that keeps on giving. Little Professor just moved down the street, to the former Nadeau building on 18th Street, and now offers two stories of books. Pick up a holiday classic for a friend or one that has been on their wish list.
