5 local spots to find your Christmas tree this year

‘Tis the season! Ready to fill your home with the cozy scent of fresh-cut pine? We’ve rounded up five of the best spots to find your perfect tree in and around Birmingham.

1. Mountain Scout Tree Sale

Support your local Boy Scouts troops and get a beautiful tree through the Mountain Scout Tree Sale. The lot is run by volunteers, parents and Scouts themselves. The sale locations include:

2. Neely Farms

Neely Farms is an Alabama-favorite choose and cut tree farm. Sip on hot chocolate or spice tea while you choose one of their own grown trees or Fraser Firs. You can also shop for wreaths and more from their gift shop.

3. Old Baker Farm

Old Baker Farm offers the classic Christmas Tree Farm experience. Enjoy complimentary hot apple cider, candy canes and a hayride through the trees.

4. Howell Christmas Trees

Howell Farms has been selling Christmas trees since 1983. In addition to their beautiful trees, you can find some of the best wreaths and ornaments in town.

5. Poppy’s Christmas Trees

Poppy’s Christmas Trees has it all—find a variety of pre-cut Fraser Firs, boxwood wreaths and more that will have your home looking the most festive in the neighborhood.
