Highlands College acquires hotel & property on Hwy. 280 to add residence hall

Highlands College is adding a second on-campus residence hall thanks to the September 27th acquisition of an Extended Stay America and accompanying property on U.S. Highway 280.

The biblical higher education institution purchased the 45,000 square foot property on 4.07 acres for $17.7 million to house 280 students. Renovations will begin in October.

The current and first on-campus residence hall, which opened in January 2022, is presently at capacity. According to Highlands College, the second residence hall is scheduled to welcome incoming students in the Fall of 2024.
