There’s more to the ASO than what you see during one of their beautiful concerts. Behind the curtain is a caring staff of musicians with a community mission to fulfill in the community. Members of ASO invest an immense amount of time and resources in educational concerts, in-school tutorials and classroom demonstrations because of the positive impact music has on education.

Inspire is an ASO program where small groups of musicians visit schools and provide in-person opportunities for kids to try instruments and meet musical talent. Along with visiting schools, ASO musicians also regularly perform in local hospitals for patients, families and staff through a program called Music Meets Medicine.
