Birmingham Squadron unveils its 24-game NBA G League home schedule
The Birmingham Squadron announced its upcoming 2023-24 Showcase Cup and regular season schedules this week.
24- game Birmingham Squadron season
Entering its third NBA G League campaign at Legacy Arena, the Squadron will play a 24-game home schedule beginning on November 10th against the Austin Spurs.
An affiliate of the New Orleans Pelicans, the Squadron competes in November and December — in what is called the Showcase portion of the season. Birmingham belongs in the South region along with Austin, the Mexico City Capitanes, Texas Legends, Oklahoma City Blue, Rio Grande Valley Vipers, Memphis Hustle and Osceola Magic.
The 2023-24 NBA G League regular season tips off on Dec. 29, with the Squadron moving to the Eastern Conference. Their first regular season home game is scheduled for Jan. 5 when the Squad hosts the Sioux Falls Skyforce.

Because they now reside in a new conference, Birmingham has picked up six new opponents:

- Fort Wayne Mad Ants
- Motor City Cruise
- Long Island Nets
- Westchester Knicks
- Windy City Bulls
