Swiping 4th is Ampersandwich!
They actually get all of their fresh bread from Birmingham Breadworks.
They offer so many sandwiches on their menu, so you definitely won’t have a hard time finding something you like.
I’m currently craving their Hot Pastrami sandwich right now, which includes:
- pastrami, swiss, + provolone with mayo, whole grain mustard, pepper salad, onion, lettuce, tomato, pickle, oil, salt + pepper.
Does that not sound absolutely scrumptious?

3. Kool Korner
Another popular comment was Kool Korner Sandwiches!
One of our Facebook followers said that he has been eating with them for over 25 years, starting back when they were located only in Atlanta. He said when he found out they opened here, he made a bee line to Bham for his go-to Cuban sandwich.
If this guy is willing to drive for the Classic Cuban, I’ve got to assume it is top tier!
