This year’s theme is ‘Bringing it Back’ and we will bringing back the original name, Dog Daze, and moving the event to its original location at the Historic Trussville Mall.”

Whether you’re new to Trussville or have lived in the area for years, Dog Daze is the perfect way to get to know Trussville.

On Saturday, September 16, local vendors will be set up at the Historic Trussville Mall showcasing everything from karate demos to handcrafted goods.

A jam-packed day of fun works up a hearty appetite. The good news is, nobody in the family will get hangry at this event. With over a dozen food and drink vendors, there will be something for everyone.

From pizza to funnel cakes, here’s a list of participating vendors:

Dog Daze activities you’ll love

From chalk art to a foam dance party, a kids’ zone and even a car show, you’ll discover all sorts of local entertainment all day long on the Dog Daze Stage/Pavilion.

Dog Daze

Be sure to attend the Pet Supplies Plus Pup Strut at 2:30PM, one of the event’s most popular activities. All dogs are welcome to participate, so sign ’em up and let them strut their stuff. There is a $5 entry fee to participate. Money raised will benefit Trussville’s Cahaba Dog Park. Prizes and Ribbons will be awarded to the winning pups.

BONUS: Dog Daze T-shirts will be available at the event. Grab one for $15.

DOUBLE BONUS: You’ll find lots of excitement in the Bryant Bank Kid’s Area including the Kids Zone by Fun Source. Wristbands can be purchased for $25 (cash only!) for unlimited rides and inflatables. A portion of all wristbands sold will benefit the Trussville Chamber’s Scholarship Fund. 

Tune Up for Dog Daze, September 9

Can’t wait for Dog Daze on Saturday, September 16? Kick off the festival a week early at Tune Up for Dog Daze on Saturday, September 9. Taking place onstage at the Trussville Entertainment District, you’ll hear live music from local singer Ethan Womack at 7PM and The Velcro Pygmies at 8PM.

You’ll also be steps from great food and drinks at the District’s awesome eateries, like Ferus Artisan Ales, Pinchgut Pies, Corbeau Wine Bar, Trussville Social and more.

BONUS: Dog Daze T-shirts will be available at the event. Grab one for $15.
