Sidewalk Film Festival would not be possible without generous volunteers

Recently claimed as one of the coolest film festivals in the world, Sidewalk Film Festival is one of our favorite annual events around The Magic City.

The week-long festival takes a lot of hard work to pull off, and it can only happen because of the amazing staff and volunteers.

If you’re interested in serving filmmakers and supporters nationwide, Sidewalk Film Festival is seeking volunteers in the following capacities:

• Awards show
• Box Office
• Film Special Events Assistant
• Filmmaker Transportation
• Footprint logistics
• General pre/post production
• Merchandise
• Panels
• Parties
• Production
• Signage
• Street team
• VIP lounge

• 1-4 hours total: 2 festival general admission tickets
• 4.25-8 hours total: 4 festival general admission tickets + 2 Sidewalk Cinema tickets
• 8.25-12 hours total: Saturday or Sunday day pass + 2 Sidewalk Cinema tickets
• 12.25-16 hours total: 2 Saturday or Sunday day passes, Saturday night pass + 2 Sidewalk Cinema tickets

What to expect at this year’s festival

It’s no secret that we at Bham Now love Sidewalk Film Festival. This year, you can expect a stacked lineup including four special films made by Birmingham directors.

The 25th Annual Sidewalk Film Festival presented by Regions Bank includes a “festival footprint” that brings you from the Sidewalk Film Center and Cinema to other beloved Alabama theaters.
