New Michaels coming to former Tuesday Morning location in Birmingham

The chain craft store, Michaels is planning to open a new location in Birmingham. The store will have all your needs for home decor, framing, scrapbooking, crafting and more.

Michaels will be taking over the space of the former Tuesday Morning on Montclair Road in Birmingham’s Eastwood Village, according to the Birmingham Business Journal (BBJ).

“The new store will be a sleeker, simpler Michaels featuring self-checkout registers, a Michaels custom framing center, and a curated assortment of our seasonal decor and the most popular supplies and componentry across arts, crafts, framing, floral, kids’ crafts, DIY, yarn, beading and scrapbooking products to inspire creativity in the surrounding community.”

Rachel Petersen, head of corporate and product communications with Michaels told the BBJ.

The store will open in the coming months and create dozens of employment opportunities.
