Singer and actress Janelle Monáe to perform at Avondale Brewery on October 4

Performer Janelle Monáe will take the Avondale Brewing Company stage October 4 in Birmingham. Monáe recently released her ‘Age of Pleasure’ album tour dates. The album will drop June 9.
From Atlanta’s Fox Theater to the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Monáe will be playing all over the country.
About the performer
A notable actress as well, starring in films such as Hidden Figures, Moonlight and Harriet, Monáe released her first studio album, The ArchAndroid, in 2010. She has collaborated with many notable musicians, including Outkast and Prince, who helped inspire Monáe’s 2018 hit single “Make Me Feel.”
Monáe is vocal about the freedom she portrays in her music and practices in her own life as a nonbinary black woman.
