5 exciting openings coming to Birmingham including Slice Pizza in Crestline
A new week means more new openings. In this week’s lineup, we have fantastic additions such as a new pizza place and gym opening, you don’t want to miss out on. Continue reading to learn more.
1. CrossFit Righteous | Leeds
Fitness junkies get excited! A new gym is coming to Leeds later this month. This workout space has tons of classes for kids, teenagers and adults, hosts Crossfit-style programs and offers guidance from personal trainers so you can get in shape the right way.

2. Poppa G’s Billards | Pelham
Poppa G’s Billiards will be opening a new location at Campus 124 after their previous home on Chandalar Place Drive in Pelham was destroyed by a large fire last July. Owners of Beer Hog and Half Shell Oyster who currently occupy the space next door, are excited to welcome Poppa G’s as their neighbor.

3. Slice Pizza | Crestline
The wait is over—Slice Pizza in Crestline is finally open! This is their fourth location with the others in Lakeview, Vestavia and Montevallo. The pizza place offers daily specials by the slice and whole plus a few menu items from the old Sal’s Deli that used to occupy the building.

4. Fast Pace Health | Alabaster
Fast Pace Health is an urgent care center serving the Alabaster community. The health center accepts walk-ins and is designed for fast and convenient access. They also have an onsite X-ray and lab. Currently, they are only open on weekdays, but as they continue to settle into their new spot, they’ll open their doors on weekends, too.

5. UAB Callahan Eye | Homewood
UAB Callahan Eye is the one-stop shop for all your eye care needs. The clinic will offer a multitude of services, including:
- Cataract Evaluations
- Cornea Diagnosis and treatment
- Contact lens evaluations
- Eye exams
- Family eye care
- Glaucoma screenings
- 15% discount for Callahan patients on all sunglasses + eyeglasses
