A fun new way to get ramen will be parking near you soon. Say hello to Pop Ramen Bham—a ramen food buggy! Read on for how to get your ramen to go.

What’s Pop Ramen?

Pop Ramen is a new concept by the owners of MELT Avondale and the chefs behind Chunks Eats. Running out of a food truck, it will feature delicious ramen to-go.

The new concept was first announced back in June 2021, and now, after a year of creating the menu and finding the perfect food truck (her name is Poppy!), The Magic City is one step closer to getting ramen to go.

MELT Birmingham shared the news on September 14 via social:

“Exciting news… from the owners of MELT Avondale and the brilliant minds of Chef Cory and Chef Addison comes our newest concept… meet Poppy… the pop ramen food buggy. Peep the menu and follow us on insta @pop_ramenbham for updates on where she will be!”

  • Green Zone (Vegan) Dank Bowl—soy-veg broth, coconut green curry, tofu, bean sprouts, bamboo shoots, mushrooms, carrot, diakon, edamame
  • High Hog Steamed Buns—honey-glazed pork belly, Bibb lettuce, carrots, scallions + seasame seeds
