JOB SEEKERS: 76 new jobs coming to Kratos Birmingham facility

With the support of critical enhancement programs provided by the State of Alabama, Jefferson County and the City of Birmingham, Kratos made this announcement after acquiring the engineering division of Birmingham’s Southern Research for $80 million earlier this year.
From the acquisition, Kratos SRE was established as a new business unit within the company’s Defense & Rocket Support Services (KDRSS) Division.
Kratos SRE
Kratos SRE currently employs about 140 engineers, technicians and program support professionals conducting work supporting the space community, the Department of Defense and other national security customers.
The new positions will have an average annual salary of $95,000 and will include engineers, technicians and support staff.
