OPENING: Burlington to open new location in Bessemer on March 18th

Bessemer discount hunters, we’ve got great news for you. Burlington is opening a brand-new location in Bessemer on Friday, March 18th. Plus, the grand opening event will be full of fun giveaways and surprises. Keep reading for all the details.

If you’ve never set foot inside a Burlington store, you’re missing out on some great deals. Burlington is regularly restocked with tons of name-brand merchandise—including shoes, men’s + women’s apparel, accessories, home decor and more.

According to The Cutoff News, this new Bessemer location will have an updated and clean design.

This marks the 5th Burlington store in the Birmingham metro area and the 8th in the state.

To make the deals even sweeter, Burlington is introducing a layaway program, offered year-round. You can place any item on layaway at checkout and pay for it later. For more info on their program, visit their website.

Grand Opening

To celebrate the new location, Burlington will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony and grand opening celebration:

• When: Friday, March 18th
• Hours: Mon.-Sun 8AM-11PM | Opening at 8AM, ceremony beginning at 7:45AM
• Where: Tannehill Promenade—4835 Promenade Parkway, Bessemer, AL 35022

In addition to the celebration, Burlington will be giving back to the community. The Bessemer location will be donating $5,000 to Greenwood Elementary School, through AdoptAClassroom.org. This generous gift will help teachers purchase supplies for their classrooms.

The donation will be presented to local school and district leaders outside of the new store on March 18th at 7:45AM, at the ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Following the ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday, the first 100 customers 18 and older will receive a $5 Bonus Card to use toward their purchase.

Can’t make it then? The next day, March 19th, customers who visit will win a free Burlington umbrella while supplies last.
