Do your parents or spouse complain that your love for video games is a waste of time? Now you can tell them it actually saves lives. Here’s how Magic City ePLEX is benefiting Children’s of Alabama in a cool, new way on November 5-6 and how you can join in.

Who is Magic City ePLEX?

It’s Birmingham’s very own esports and virtual reality complex. Located in Crestwood, it’s the first of its kind in the Southeast and offers a place for avid gamers to play their favorite games in one combined space.

For pay-by-the-hour pricing, you can game in three ways:

  • PC & Console
  • Virtual Reality
  • Racing Simulator

You can even level up your experience by purchasing gaming packages.

From 4PM on Friday, November 5 to 4PM on Saturday, November 6, Magic City ePLEX is hosting a 24-hour charity stream benefiting Children’s of Alabama

The tech company’s been working alongside reps from Children’s within the Extra Life Program, which raises donations and awareness through streaming esports and virtual reality for Children’s Miracle Network.

When you join the Facebook live stream, you’ll have the chance to join other active gamers online to compete together for a great cause—supporting kids’ health.

Don’t want you play? That’s okay. Donating is the ultimate way to get involved. All donations stay local to fund critical treatments, healthcare services, pediatric medical equipment and charitable care. Donate now.
